Kellee Strickland wrote her first novel when she was thirteen years old. When she was seventeen, she packed all her manuscripts away in the attic and quit writing to focus on her marriage. Twenty-two years later, in 2014, during a very bitter divorce, she decided to fulfill the promise she made her best friend weeks before she passed away that same year, and brought the box out of hiding. She grabbed the first book she saw, polished it up, and sent it to a publishing company she found by closing her eyes, flipping through the pages of a book, and touching a contact. Two months later, Black Rose Writing gave her a contract for her debut novel, “Whispered Dreams.” Since then, she has independently published two more books under her real name, and one under her alias.
Kellee is forty years old and lives in Cross, South Carolina on Lake Moultrie. Her spare time is almost always dedicated to her two kids, Giddeon and Dezarea. She writes romance novels ranging from bashful to erotica. She does it for the satisfaction of telling stories, not for the hopes of fame or fortune. Her dream is to purchase a Harley one day and drive Route 66 from one end to the other.
